In the winter of thirteen years ago, I entered an old warehouse and met the 60 years old "Beam", which was illuminated by a flashlight.
It was the moment that I felt like I was drawn by the "Time" which was asleep. And also, it was a meeting with "time of the long silence" and with a long living "Breath of the space".

I created one room by polishing the "Beam," putting the "Floor," and building the "Wall". It was a work to set "Breath of the space" free from the "Time of the long silence." .. when I think back, it was my start as a producer. At the same time, it was the start of the journey to seek the REAL. "The Real" for me as well as for all the others is something that never lose the life even if the time passes.

I traveled to visit "The real" and saw Leonard Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Miro, and Picasso, who were the giant historically, and met the Lewes Varagan, the Lewes khan, Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier, and the Mies fan Dell Rohe, etc, who were the master of architecture. At Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum in New York, I was fascinated by a powerful stone art, which seemed like did not matter where the place was. By looking The Monserrat mountain range in Barcelona gave a hint of the origin of Antonio Gaudi. The architect by Peter Znmthor in Switzerland showed the Universal of "the modern classics."

And, I met two friends during this travel, and they became fellows who shared the same wills. They are Mr. Yoshihiro Hirotani, who is an architect, and Mr. Makoto Koizumi, who is a designer. As the travel went by, I was able to feel what the world greatest artists were faced and made their art. By understanding of where the great arts were coming from, I became aware of the importance for me to face the nature in my hometown called Toyama; it is an environment of my roots.

I returned to my hometown, and decided to fill my feeling by facing the rest of the "place" where nobody touched for thirteen years. They became "Room of the Earth", "Room of the paper", "Room of the Space", "Room of the Wood", and "Room of the Wind. " Now, after going through thirteen years, "VEGA" is here with my fellows.
